Lead Scotland provide guidance to physically disabled adults (including those with sensory impairments) to enable them to access education, training and lifelong learning opportunities. The local organisers and network of trained volunteers can offer support to access distant learning courses, courses provided in the area, or individual home tuition, there is also the possibility of a computer home loan scheme. |

Borders College believes there should be no barriers to education. For example: Open Learning is an ideal way to study for anyone who has difficulties in attending College regularly, perhaps through employment commitments, shift working, a young family, travelling distances, disability, or family responsibilities. None of these need prevent anyone from gaining qualifications. |
